One of the UK's leading technical copywriters with growing consumer experience, Takooba helps clients win more bids and gain more customers by gracefully conveying customer-focussed messages
My most recent work at Takooba was to create a great deal of consumer-related copy for high end tea firm, Newby Teas.
I put together the first of a recurring quarterly training newsletter for the UK's main provider of housing warranty and insurance, the National House Building Council. I write a newsletter for Fairhurst Ward Abbotts and also help them win bids.
I have written a brochure for international law firm, Pinsent Masons.
I a great deal of work for Holland's third-largest company, chemist, DSM. I created web sites on topics as broad as microbial fermentation, bullet-resistant material, automative plastics, non-reflective glass and salmonella.
I wrote a 56-page sustainable development review for the UK's second largest private builder, Willmott Dixon. Brochure for the same company about the UK's first BREEAM Excellent healthcare project and a project piece about the world's largest wooden residential building.
I wrote eight separate project pieces for two issues of this firm's in-house magazine, extolling the best aspects of their activity up and down the country. I focussed on excellent customer service, environmental sustainability, and working with the community as well as the famous firm's great work.
I did a lot of work for companies Travis Perkins, including writing press releases, by-lined articles, award entries and web pages.
I helped multi-sector, construction and support services provider, Tamdown generate a personal brand for one of the directors as he takes initial steps into the public arena - writing opinion pieces and conducting interviews with the trade press. He and I collaborate on generating ideas for articles and writing them up.

This helped give an otherwise commoditised process a sense of excitement and place, and I focused on the key differentiators of the firm, so that it stood out.
